• Our hygienist can completely remove superficial stains (eg. from smoking, tea, coffee etc.) using a modern “power jet” to leave your teeth perfectly clean.
  
• Treating gum disease (also known as gingivitis or periodontal disease) – this is caused by plaque which is a sticky film of bacteria. If left untreated your gums will start to bleed and recede from your teeth to ultimately result in tooth loss. This plaque and calculus (tartar) can be removed by a technique called “scale and polish.” Loosing your teeth is not a sign of age - it is a sign of gum disease.
