WELCOME TO THE TEAM!
You may notice a new face at your next visit! We’d like to welcome Naimh to the practice. Niamh is our trainee nurse and has very quickly fitted into our team, showing real enthusiasm to learn and care towards patients.
A massive congratulations to our nurse Joanne who has
qualified from Newcastle University after 3 years study with
a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. This is a fantastic
achievement and we are delighted to welcome her in her new
professional role to cover Louise during her maternity leave.
MOUTH CANCER ACTION MONTH
1st - 30th November 2014
This November we once again recognise MOUTH CANCER ACTION MONTH, when the aim is to raise public awareness of oral cancer and the risk factors associated with the disease.
The most common symptoms of mouth cancer are a sore or ulcer in the mouth that does not heal along with pain in the mouth that does not go away.
What is the AED?
An AED is a portable device that checks the heart rythm of someone who has collapsed, and if needed in the case of a cardic arrest, will send an electric shock to the heart to try and restore a normal heart beat.
